Mobile visits to websites exceed that of visitors using desktop/laptop devices for some years now. And yet we as website designers/builders are by and large still designing for desktop first.

Don’t worry, I’m not going to try to completely change you to a fully mobile-first designer – I haven’t done this myself. But I do want to share some simple techniques, examples and mindsets that will help you be more holistic in your designs no matter how you build your websites.
